SFG’s refiance paid off a bank loan that was secured against the borrower’s personal residence and an adjacent lot. Borrower entered into an agreement to sell the lot, but the existing bank lien did not provide for a deed release provision, thus stopping the sale. Although this was a make sense proposition for any lender, time constraints took this transaction outside the box and right into SFG’s portfolio of good borrowers and great properties.
