Developer tied up the retail units of this downtown Seattle high-rise condo back in 2005 during the planning stages. Fast-forward to 2007 and our borrower needed to close on the purchase in its “grey – shell” stage without a tenant in hand… A tough order for any traditional lender. SFG was able to quickly assess the demand for these units, which was quite high, and made a loan based on its current vacant value. The borrower brought in cash to purchase and we closed on time.
