When initially presented to SFG, the principals had already signed loan docs with another lender, but given the continued delays, were concerned about the loan ever being funded. SFG set a site appointment on the same day as the initial phone call from the broker with whom we had previously established a relationship in San Diego. Based upon the site inspection, a detailed interview with the principals, and our initial reaction to the lending opportunity, the principals quickly established SFG as a responsive, forthright, capable, experienced lender that was going to follow through with its commitments…on a timely basis.
